What Are Conservation Values?

The conservation values of the property protected through the conservation easement include natural, scenic, agricultural, historic and/or open land resources. Specifically, some conservation values found on properties conserved with Yampa Valley Land Trust are:
(1)
habitat
for a variety of fish, wildlife or plant;
(2)
open space, scenic vistas and farmland,
ranchlands and forestland; and
(3) historic lands and structures.
Additionally, in support of local communities, YVLT occasionally works in conjunction with regional cities and towns.
